This review is from: 7-inch Nexxtech 16:9 TFT LCD Portable DVD/CD Player (Electronics) The item arrived in good time but the battery was not fuctional when you tried to charge it . the charger worked when it was connected to the player, but without the battery it was not portable.I contacted the seller who said it worked when she shipped it so the fault was not on her part. She thought I didn't know how to use it. O'Keeley "whitebird7" (Burbank, CA) - See all my reviews    This review is from: 7-inch Nexxtech 16:9 TFT LCD Portable DVD/CD Player (Electronics) We've had this product for 3 years now. We use it for our (now 5 year old) son while traveling. The battery life only lasts us about 1 hour when fully charged. That is my only beef. But it comes with a car charger and an ac adapter. We bought a power inverter that kind of acts as an extension cord to get this thing to the back seat and in my son's lap (on top of a pillow). That way if we have an extra long trip that is longer than an hour- we can just plug right in to the cigarette lighter. It has headphone jack and you can plug it right in to any sound system or TV- so you can use it as a regular DVD viewing back up when your regular DVD player goes broke. Ours was VERY VERY durable. It's slide off my son's lap a few times and hit the floor of the car. It's still intact and in perfect working order. I think it's a great buy. We use it while doing laundry at the laundry mat too.
